BSP’s Bhadoria rejects exit poll results
Sudhindra Bhadoria, the national spokesperson for the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), dismissed exit polls that indicated the Bharatiya Janata Party would win the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, saying that the Mayawati-led party will win with a large margin.
"The people of Uttar Pradesh have spoken, and their votes have been recorded in the EVMs. We feel that the BSP will emerge as a major force based on the crowds that have attended at Mayawati's rallies "he stated.
Almost all exit polls have predicted that the BJP will win and the SP will lose. Meanwhile, OP Rajbhar, the leader of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, a major partner in the SP alliance, has broken his silence on the exit polls. He denied this, claiming that the SP coalition will constitute the government. Simultaneously, they are concerned about the safety of EVMs.
On Tuesday morning, OP Rajbhar tweeted, "The mandate of the people of Uttar Pradesh, SP + SubhaSP coalition is coming." Ignore the TV... don't procrastinate until you've counted! Always keep your attention on the EVM machine." Rajbhar, who served as a minister in Yogi's ministry after running for office with the BJP in 2017, then revolted and joined the SP coalition.
