Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) on Friday announced India's squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against New Zealand. Ajinkya Rahane to lead the team for the first test. Virat Kohli to join the squad for the 2nd Test and lead the team.

The first Test will be played on 25th Nov 2021 in Kanpur and the second Test on 3rd December in Mumbai.
Host India rank second and New Zealand is in the top of the Test cricket ranking, as per the latest Test rankings released by ICC on 25 Aug 2021.
