BJP MLA defends vandalism of Muslim seller shop in Dharwad
Vandalism of right-wing groups, damaging a pushcart of Muslim sellers and damaged watermelon fruits have received widespread criticisms against the BJP government.

Bengaluru: BJP MLA Arvind Bellad from Hubblli-Dharwad west defended the right-wing group action of vandalized pushcart shops run by Muslim sellers at temple premises in Dharwad.
“It’s a Hindu temple, even if he is Muslim vender how he needs to dress up, wearing a skull cap with a beard, shaved his moustaches and wearing a pyjama. How will Hindu devotees feel,”, Mr. Bellad replied to the reporters about the incident.

Congress has came down heavily on the Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Home Minister for mute spectators about the incident.
Now bjp MLA has defended the action of the Hindu right-wing groups of attacking Muslim sellers.
Police have arrested out of eight, four accused have been arrested in the Saturday attack on Muslim vendors - where the watermelon carts were vandalised.
After much criticism, the Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has said that
his administration has sent out a clear message that it will not tolerate if people taking law into their hands and resort to violence.
