CSK loses three matches in a row, suffers a 54-run defeat against Punjab Kings

Mumbai: The Punjab Kings (PBKS) won their second match in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Sunday, defeating the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 54 runs at Mumbai's Brabourne Stadium.
Liam Livingstone led from the front with all-around performance in Punjab Kings' convincing win over CSK, scoring his maiden IPL half-century and taking two key wickets with the ball.
CSK won the toss and decided to bowl, and Ravindra Jadeja's team was disappointed by their bowling attack. With the help of Liam Livingstone’s 60 runs in 32 balls, the team posted a good total of 181 runs.

For Chennai, Shivam Dube fought alone by scoring 57 runs in 30 balls, but his innings did not help CSK secure a win. Former skipper MS Dhoni scored 23 runs. He was the second-highest scorer in this match for the team.
For PBKS, Rahul Chahar picked up three wickets, while Livingstone and Vaibhav Arora picked up two wickets each. Odean Smith, Kagiso Rabada, and Arshdeep Singh picked up one wicket each.
Earlier, batting first, PBKS lost Mayank Agarwal's wicket early. The skipper once again failed to score runs with his bat. He scored just four runs. Shikhar Dhawan scored 33 runs. Bhanuka Rajapaksa failed to score runs in this match. The highlight of the PBKS innings was the partnership between Dhawan and Livingstone, who both built a partnership of 95 runs. After Shikar’s departure, PBKS lost wickets at regular intervals.
In this match, Jitesh Sharma scored 26 runs, and Shahrukh Khan failed to score runs.
