Fresh trouble to JD(S) MLA Mahesh, govt orders resurvey of land owned by him
Mysuru: JD(S) MLA of K.R. Nagar Constituency, S.R. Mahesh, has landed in trouble following Commissioner of Survey, Settlement, and Land Records has ordered for resurvey of land allegedly owned by the MLA.
Mr. Mahesh was earlier spat with then Mysuru deputy commissioner Rohini Sindhuri for her decision to order a survey of land owned by him. Later government has transferred the officer following a complaint by a section of politicians from Mysuru.
Commissioner of Survey, Settlement, and Land Records, Munish Moudgil, has ordered for resurvey of the land owned by Mr. Mahesh; interestingly, the Commissioner has excluded the officers of Mysuru and entrusted the works to officers working in Mandya and Tumakuru. Director of Survey, Settlement, and Land Records of Mandya district, Umesh and Sujay and T.K. Lohit from Tumakuru and Davangere districts have been appointed for this task.
Rohini Sindhuri has alleged that JD(S) MLA illegally encroached on the government land and ordered for a survey, however Mr. Mahesh challenged the same and demanded transfer of DC from Mysuru.
The Regional Commissioner of Mysuru has submitted the report that the land is owned by Mr. Mahesh; however, the Commissioner has taken a decision for resurvey of the land in question.
Mr. Mahesh owned land in Dattagalli, R.T. Nagar, Yedhalli, Lingambudipalya; officers have been asked to resurvey the said land and file a report within ten days.
It was alleged that Mr. Mahesh has illegally encroached upon the government's land. Following a complaint about alleged encroachment of government land, Mr. Moudgil has ordered for resurvey.
It was alleged that Mr. Mahesh had constructed choultry on Rajakaluve at Dattagalli. Later the probe panel has given a clean chit to him. Rohini Sindhuri has ordered a probe into the alleged encroachment of government land by Mahesh.
