Bengaluru: The ten franchises splurged INR 5,51,70,00,000 to buy 204 players during the two-day TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Auction in Bengaluru.
Ishan Kishan attracted the topmost bid of INR 15.25 Crore which saw him return to Mumbai Indians (MI).

Sharukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) broke the bank for Shreyas Iyer and bought the stylish right-handed batter for INR 12.25 Crore.
Liam Livingstone, Wanindu Hasaranga, Nicholas Pooran, Shardul Thakur and Lockie Ferguson also made merry at the Auction while Avesh Khan became the most expensive uncapped player in the history of the IPL, with INR 10 Crore against his name, courtesy of the new IPL entrant Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
Yash Dhull, skipper of India's U19 World Cup in 2022, is sold to Delhi Capitals for Rs 50 Lakh on Sunday. Lalit Yadav is the first player under the uncapped all-rounders category. He is sold to Delhi Capitals for Rs 65 Lakh.
