Karnataka has 309 active cases
Karnataka on Thursday, September 29, reported 266 new coronavirus cases. As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 2,733. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally is 171. One death was reported due to coronavirus in the state on Thursday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,241. The state recorded 276 discharges from hospitals on Thursday, taking the total discharges to 40,21,596. So far, Karnataka has seen 40,64,612 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. The positivity rate for the day stands at 1.34%. As many as 12,00,71,245 people have received vaccination so far.
