Karnataka: Yediyurappa to resign on July 26?
Bengaluru: BS Yediyurappa hinted that he might resign as Chief Minister of Karnataka on July 26 (Monday), the day he completes two years in power.
Talking to the media, Yediyurappa said, " There is an event on 26th (July) on completion of 2 years of our govt here. After this, I will follow whatever JP Nadda will decide. It is my duty to bring back BJP to power. I urge party workers & seers to cooperate".

According to reports, Governor Thawarchand Gehlot has given an appointment to BS Yediyurappa on July 26. By the weekend, the party high-command to make an important statement regarding the leadership change in Karnataka.
Today Yediyurappa urged supporters and well wishers to remain calm and not indulge in protests/indiscipline amid rumours of leadership change in the state.
After Yediyurappa’s Delhi visit, rumours are doing rounds of the new chief minister for the state. Yediyurappa met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and the party chief JP Nadda. However, after the Delhi visit, Yediyurappa denied media reports on impending leadership change.
