Kumaraswamy settle score against Sumalatha for defeating his son- Siddaramaiah
Hubballi: The opposition leader Siddaramaiah criticized that former Chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy is settling a score against Mandya MP, Sumalatha, for defeating his son in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
Kumaraswamy is making desperate statements against Sumalatha after defeating his son Nikhil Kumaraswamy in Mandaya Lok Sabha constituency. Mines and Geology department officials should inspect the sites whether illegal mining activities are going on or not. However, department officials are opening their mouths. It shows that the ruling party has been involved in illegal mining in Mandya, Mr. Siddaramaiah alleged.
“I don’t know whether KRS dam has developed a crack due to illegal mining near dam area. However, Engineer has said that there is no crack in the KRS dam. At the same time, Sumalatha accused that there is a crack in the KRS dam due to illegal mining. State government should look into these allegations”, Mr. Siddaramaiah said.
“BSY government is involved in rampant corruption. This government has lost its sensitivity; people are waiting this shameless government should go”, the opposition leader added.
The government is involving in corrupt activities during covid. Government is aware of the fact that opposition parties cannot protest during a pandemic. Taking advantage of this, the ruling party is involved in rampant corruption in covid management, Mr. Siddaramaiah said.
Yediyurappa government has taken a bribe of Rs. 17 crore to transfer Pollution Control Board Chairman.
Opposition leader reiterated that in the next Assembly elections, he would contest from Badami constituency. His followers and voters from Badami insisted him to contest from Badami, he said.
