Lockdown or curfew in Karnataka? CM Bommai to review COVID-19 situation today
Reports are doing rounds that the chief minister is likely to discuss the possibility of imposing lockdown in the state.
Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to chair a meeting to review the COVID-19 situation in the state at his official residence 'Krishna' at 6.30 PM on Tuesday.
The chief minister has scheduled a meeting soon after arrival from the Kalaburgi district, Kalyana Karnataka region.
Reports are doing rounds that the chief minister is likely to discuss the possibility of imposing lockdown in the state. Already night curfew is in place in the state from December 28 to January 7 to stop the spread of the Omicron variant of Coronavirus. The state has reported 77 Omicron cases so far.

Minister for Health & Family Welfare and Medical Education Dr. K Sudhkar tweeted about COVID-19 updates in the state on Monday.
