'Change our MLA', devotees pray before Goddess ‘Hasanamba’ in Hassan
Devotees have made peculiar kinds of wishes to Hasanamba, one devotee has made wishes to change Holenarasipura MLA for not doing any work
Hassan: Peculiar kinds of wishes have been made by the devotees to Hasanamba temple, which had opened once in a year for ten days from October 28 to November 6.
In the span of ten days, nearly four lakh people have made Darshana of Hasanamba deity. Devotees have offered ‘Kanike’ (money and gold) to the hundi. While counting devotees have dropped letters in the Hundi, requesting almighty to resolve their problem.
Few devotees have requested the goddess to change Holenarasipura MLA H.D. Revanna for not doing any work to the constituency. Devotees have demanded to replace the MLA for not doing work, some have requested the goddess to give sense to Hassan MLA to repair roads in Hassan.
Goddess, bless me with the boy child, I will offer Rs. 5000 to hundi, requested one devotee, another requested that give me a groom with good character, I will offer special Pooja, requested by another devotee. One girl has written a letter in her blood, requesting deity to give good sense to her parents to get married to her boyfriend. Few students have requested the deity to make them pass in PUC and SSLC exams with the highest score.
Married women have sought the intervention of Hasanamba to give good sense to their husbands. Devotees have wished promotions, jobs and other wishes.
