NEW DELHI: (Jul 8) Filmmaker Karan Johar has praised Ekta Kapoor for creating Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, calling it a landmark show that “changed the face of Indian television.”
Originally aired on Star Plus from 2000 to 2008, the iconic family drama starred Smriti Irani as Tulsi Virani. Now, the makers are bringing back the beloved series with a second season, with Irani set to reprise her iconic role.
The promo for the new season was released on Star Plus’s official Instagram handle. The show is scheduled to premiere on July 29 and will also be available for streaming on JioHotstar.
