The clip, which has circulated widely on social media, has sparked speculation about the cause of the accident, with some suggesting the biker may have been under the influence of alcohol.
The footage, timestamped at 2:22 a.m. on October 24, aligns with the police’s timeline, which places the collision between 2:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. It appears to show two men on a motorcycle at a fuel station. At one point, one of them is seen pushing the bike briefly before they ride off. The rider seems to lose balance momentarily upon sudden acceleration but regains control.
Reports, including one by Deccan Chronicle, indicate that preliminary findings suggest Shivasankar may have been intoxicated at the time of the crash. However, the authenticity of the CCTV footage has not been independently verified by authorities or media outlets.
