Mohammed Nalapad to head K'taka Youth Congress from Feb 2022
New Delhi: Mohammed Harris Nalapad, son of senior Congress leader Nalapad Harris, to assume charge as Karnataka Youth Congress President from February 1, 2022.
Indian Youth Congress President BV Srinivas today formally announced that the current Karnataka Youth Congress President Raksha Ramiah would continue till January 31st, 2022.
With the announcement, the ongoing controversy in the selection of the president has come to an end.The duo will be the KPYC presidents for 18 months each.
Raksha Ramiah became the youth wing president in February 2021 in a controversial election after his rival Mohammed Nalapad secured the maximum votes but was disqualified.
Raksha Ramaiah is the son of former minister M.R. Seetharam of the Congress.
