Bollywood icon Salman Khan paid his respects at the funeral of Pankaj Dheer, best remembered for his iconic portrayal of Karna in the television series Mahabharat. The ceremony, held in Mumbai on October 15, saw a host of film and television personalities gather to honor the late actor.
Pankaj Dheer passed away at the age of 68 after a prolonged battle with cancer. His death was confirmed by Amit Behl, a close friend and member of CINTAA. “With profound grief and deep sorrow, we inform you of the passing of our Trust’s former Chairman and CINTAA’s former Hon. General Secretary, Shri Pankaj Dheer ji, on 15th October 2025,” read an official statement from the Cine & TV Artistes’ Association.
