PM Modi purchases first ticket to 'Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya'

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday purchased the first ticket to the "Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya," a new museum dedicated to the country's 14 former Prime Ministers.
PM Modi has purchased tickets for the Metro in a number of places in the past. He's always made contactless payments.
According to organisers, 'Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya' depicts the stories of prior Prime Ministers and how they guided the country through various obstacles. While highlighting the journey, it also provides insights of India's history, beginning with the independence movement.
According to officials, the driving philosophy has been to recognise the contributions of all prime ministers in a nonpartisan manner.
A display on the life and contributions of the country's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, is on display at the museum, together with a number of gifts he received from throughout the world, which is being shown for the first time.
The museum's architecture is inspired by the story of a growing India that was sculpted and reshaped by its rulers. The building's logo depicts the people of India carrying the "chakra," which signifies the nation and democracy.
Holograms, virtual reality, augmented reality, multi-touch, multi-media, interactive kiosks, computerised kinetic sculptures, smartphone applications, interactive screens, and experiential installations are used by the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya to deliver information in an easy and engaging manner.
