43 FIRs against Narayan Rane's 'Jan Ashirvaad Yatra' in Maharashtra

Mumbai: Maharashtra police have registered 42 FIRs so far in connection with the 'Jan Ashirvaad Yatra' of Union Minister and BJP leader Narayan Rane. The FIRs against BJP workers are registered under multiple sections of the IPC and Epidemic Diseases Act.

Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said, "BJP's Jan Ashirwad Yatra is nothing but a yatra of deceit. People are witnessing what they're doing. They will give their 'aashirwad' in due time. If they really want to work, then they should provide COVID vaccines for people".

Narayan Rane police said cases being filed against BJP workers for alleged violation of COVID-19 norms would not deter him from continuing his ''Jan Ashirwad Yatra''.

'Jan Ashirvaad Yatra' is campaign to reach out to the last person in the country. All the newly inducted 39 central ministers will connect with the people (Jan) and seek their Ashirwad (blessings). It would also simultaneously take the message and the achievements of the Modi government to people.

Ministers of MoS rank have begun the drive from August 16, and the Cabinet rank Ministers joined the yatra four days later. The Jan Aashirwad Yatra intends to cover 19,567 km and pass through 22 states covering 212 Lok Sabha seats.
