8 dead, several injured as minibus falls into gorge in J&K's Doda
At least eight people died and several were injured as a minibus travelling from Thathri to Doda fell into a gorge on Thursday. Rescue operations are underway.
Doda: At least eight people died and several were injured as a minibus travelling from Thathri to Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, fell into a gorge on Thursday. Rescue operations are underway.
The injured are shifted to Government Medical College Doda. Whatever further assistance required will be provided, Additional SP, Doda, told news agency ANI.
Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said eight people have lost their lives in a road accident near Thatri in Doda, He spoke to D.C.Doda Vikas Sharma.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled deaths in road accident. He announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF to the next of kin of those who have lost their lives, the injured would be given Rs. 50,000.
