40 killed as massive fire breaks out at factory in Bangladesh
Dhaka: At least 40 people killed and 30 others injured after massive fire broke out at a factory in Bangladesh on Friday, reports news agency AFP.
Some people are seen jumping from the upper floors to escape the fire and dozens are still missing, according to reports.
The fire broke out at the factory in Naryanganj's Rupganj last night, bdenews24.com reported.
According to Dailystar report, bodies were being taken out as the food factory blaze continued to rage 24 hours after it broke out on Thursday. Grieving relatives rioted as bodies were seen being taken out by rescuers as the building continued to burn nearly 24 hours later on Friday.
