Army helicopter crashes in Udhampur, two Majors killed
Srinagar: Two pilots of the Indian army were killed in a Helicopter crash-landed on the hills near Patnitop in Udhampur district Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
Indian Army Aviation helicopter Cheetah has crash-landed on a hillside. Locals have rushed to save the pilots, and they have been able to pull out the pilots and shifted to the nearby hospital, but doctors declared them brought dead.
Deceased were major rank officials and identified, Maj Anuj Rajput and Maj Rohit Kumar. Army has shifted them to the hospital with the help of locals. But unfortunately, both lost their lives, an official said.
The incident took place around 10.30 am; Union Minister Jitendra Singh tweeted that disturbed to receive the news of an Army Helicopter crash in the Patnitop region. Wrecked of the helicopter, Cheetah was shared on social media.
