BJP high command to send 'suggestions' by evening: Yediyurappa
Bengaluru: BJP high command is to send 'suggestions' to Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Sunday evening as the suspense over the new chief minister's appointment has peaked in the state.
Yediyurappa, who is visiting flood-affected areas in the Belagavi district, told the media that the party high command would decide whether to appoint a Dalit chief minister.
He said, "I'm expecting suggestions from high command by evening, you'll (media) also come to know what it will be. High command will decide about it, I'm not concerned about it (on appointing Dalit CM)".

On July 26, Yediyurappa will complete two years in power. It is widely reported that he would resign the same day.
Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraj S Bommai met Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi, on Saturday in Hubli.
Bommai said, "It was a courtesy meet. We discussed rescue work in my constituency Shiggaon in the aftermath of heavy rains. There was no political discussion at all."
