Bengaluru: Beleaguered Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa held a luncheon meeting with his loyalist ministers and MLAs here on Monday.

Worried about the alleged audio revelation of BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel, trusted ministers of BSY rushed to his official residence ‘Kaveri’. Mr. Yediyurappa has taken them to the nearby Taj West End hotel for lunch, held a meeting with them.

Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Agriculture Minister B.C. Patil, Revenue Minister R.Ashok, Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. K.Sudhakar, Housing minister V.Somanna, Minister of Cooperation, S.T. Somashekar and a few loyalist MLAs of Yediyurappa met the Chief Minister at his residence.

During the luncheon meeting, Mr. Yediyurappa did not speak about the leadership change issue with his minister. Also, he did not utter any word about the alleged audio of party President Nalin Kumar Kateel about the change of leadership.

However, few ministers have vehemently argued that there will be no change of leadership. Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Ashwathnarayana said that Mr. Yediyurappa will complete a full term, no change of leadership in the state.

Another deputy chief minister Laxman Sawadi said that no chief minister post is vacant in the state. Chief Minister himself clarified that there will be no change of leadership, he said.

Meanwhile, Minister of food and civil supply, Umesh Katti said that "he is the candidate for cm post. If party change the leadership, I am aspirant for CM post", he said.
