Bengaluru: Following the BJP central leadership has decided to change the leadership in the state, the Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa gets support from an unexpected corner, senior Congress leader and former minister M.B. Patil cautioned that BJP may face the wrath of Lingyats if they change ill-treat Yediyurappa.
“BJP may face the wrath of lingayats if they ill-treat tall leader. Considering his age and contribution to the party, BJP should treat Yedyurappa with dignity. This is my personal opinion, understanding that the proposed changes may be internal matters of the BJP”, Mr. Patil tweeted.
However, the Opposition leader Siddaramaiah said that “B.S.Yediyurappa is the most corrupt Chief Minister of Karnataka. In the interest of the state, he should resign to the CM post. As I said earlier, his resignation would help Karnataka at large. But Congress has nothing do with his resignation”, Mr. Siddaramaiah said.
