Centre sends ‘lover letters’ through ED: Shiv Sena
Mumbai: Shiv Sena has criticized the Centre for issuing notice through Enforcement Directorate to Maharashtra minister and Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said that ED notice will consider as a ‘love letter’ for political workers.
Mr. Raut said that the Centre has been sending such love letters frequently after its unsuccessful attempt to make a dent in Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).
Shiv Sena MP said that BJP had targeted Anil Parab. "He will respond to the notice and cooperate with the ED". The ED has summoned Mr. Parab for questioning on Tuesday. ED has also registered a money laundering case against former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh and others.
Taking sarcastic note against BJP, Mr.Raut said, "either a BJP man is a desk officer in the ED or an ED officer is working in the office of the BJP".

The Shiv Sena was the former partner of the BJP, shares the power with the Nationalist Congress Party and Congress in Maharashtra. Mr. Raut also hit out at BJP for organising protests for the reopening of temples in Maharashtra, which remain shut due to COVID-19 restrictions.
"The Maharashtra government is following the directives of the Centre, which has asked states to exercise caution ahead of the upcoming festivals and fear of the spread of coronavirus infection. We believe the central government is also 'Hindutvawadi' (pro-Hindus)," he said.
