CM post is like golden howdah; new elephant will carry howdah during Dasara” - Yogishwar
Mysuru: Tourism Minister C.P. Yogishwar hinted that party central leadership would get a suitable elephant (Chief candidate) to carry golden howdah ( lead the state) during the Dasara festival.
Speaking to reporters at Mysuru, Mr. Yogishwar has indirectly hinted that the state will get new leadership by Dasara( October 2021).
Without taking the name of Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa and his son and party vice president B.Y. Vijayendra, Mr. Yogishwar, said that a suitable elephant will be available to carry golden howdah for Dasara. He used metaphors like golden howdah and elephant when asked about leadership change in the state.
- "Chief Minister post is a responsible position like golden howdah, to carry golden howdah, the suitable elephant will be available by Dasara. Not all elephants can carry golden howdah. Elephants should be trained and have experience. We can not choose baby elephant (Viayendra for cm post ) to carry howdah in Mysuru Dasara”, Mr.Yogishwar said.
Abhimanyu, Balarama, and Arjuna carried golden howdah, so to lead the state, the suitable leader will be selected, he added.
Mr. Yogishwar has expressed his displeasure that Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa is heeding the words of H.D.Kumaraswamy and D.K. Shivakumar with regard to Ramanagara politics. He cannot even provide reservation benefits to need in ZPs and TPs of Ramanagara. Under this circumstance, how can strengthen the party in the district and how can one give social justice to the needy, he questioned.

Two days back in Bellary, when reporters asked about the change of leadership in the state. “I will not speak against Yediyurappa; if he speaks, his political future will be buried,” he said sarcastically,
Earlier, Mr. Yogishwar said that "we had written exams and are waiting for results< when scribes had asked about a leadership change.
Taken a lead role in anti-BSY camp to oust the Chief Minister from CM post, Mr. Yogishwar also taken Delhi trip to meet party tap leaders in this regard.

His statement in Mysuru gives enough indication that the change of leadership in the state is still alive and will happen by October 2021.
"We are like stepping stone to the leader's to approach golden throne. After he attaining thone we have been neglected like anything, Mr. Yogishwar reportedly expressed his displeasure against Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa.
