CM takes city rounds, inspects smart city projects

Bengaluru: The Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa has taken city rounds with his colleagues and officers, overseeing the works taken under white-tapping, tender sure and smart city projects. 

He has inspected the road works taken up under smart city and tender sure projects in Planetarium road, Commercial street, Ulasoor , Infantry road, Dickenson road, Brigade road, Rajaram Mohan Roy Road, Kasturba road, Raj Bhavan, Palace road. 

In which few tender sure road projects have been completed and few roads are under verge of completion. 

Mr. Yediyurappa has thanked top officials and MLAs for taking up world-class infrastructure facilities to the Bengaluru.”I owed thanks to my officers, MLAs of all parties for the execution of smart city and tender sure projects in the city. Bengaluru will get world-class infrastructure facilities and in future, it will have a major tourist destination in the country”, Mr. Yediyurappa remarked. 

Our dream is to provide world-class infrastructure facilities to the city and brand it as Silicon city. Due to standard roads, there will be no potholes for the next 20 years. Under smart city project, quality road works had done, CM said. 

After inspecting the smart city project, the Chief Minister has taken rounds in the Western part of Bengaluru where white tapping works are under progress. He visited, Gandhinagar area, Subedhar Chetram Road, Dhanwantri Road, Cottonpete main road,W.H. Hanumantappa road, Vanivilas road. 

To improve the quality of main roads in the city, 69 white tapping works have been taken with a length of 147k.m. 

Cabinet ministers, Dr. Ashwathnarayana, R.Ashok, Gopalaiah, Aravind Limbavali, Byrati Basavaraj, V.Somanna, Congress MLAs, Rizwan Arshad, Haris, Officers, Rakesh Singh, Vandita Sharma, BBMP Commissioner Gaurav Gupta have accompanied the CM.
