Virat Kohli's fans are eagerly waiting for his 100th test match against Sri Lanka, which begins on Friday in Mohali. 

On the eve of the big match, the former Indian skipper was receiving congratulatory messages from former Indian cricket players congratulating him on achieving the milestone. The BCCI is posting messages on its Twitter account.

The BCCI has released videos of other former Indian cricketers, including BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, India team head coach Rahul Dravid, and former opener, explosive batsman Virender Shewag, saying best wishes to the former captain of the Indian cricket team. 

Sachin, in a video message, said that the first time, he heard about Kohli was when he was in Australia in 2007. Virat and the boys were playing in the U-19 World Cup in Malaysia. That’s when there were certain players in the team who were discussing him. His batting was very good. One of the players told us about you, "he said."

Indian cricket team head coach Rahul Dravid said that he is India’s most successful test captain and enjoyed the day. He hailed Kohli’s talent.

The former Indian skipper will be the 71st cricketer to play 100 test matches. And he will be the 12th Indian cricketer to reach this landmark
