Srinagar:  India's disappointing campaign in T20 World Cup against Pakistan but students of top medical colleges in Srinagar are staring at troubles for some other reason.  

The Srinagar Police has filed FIRs against a section of the students of two top local medical colleges after their videos celebrating Pakistan’s victory went viral. According to reports, the registration of two FIRs in the matter — under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act and relevant IPC sections.

In another incident reported from Punjab students cheering for Pakistan were allegedly beaten up on Sunday. 

Kashmiri students allegedly cheering the neighbouring country were reportedly beaten up at an engineering college in Sangrur.

Students hailing from Kashmir and others belonging to UP, Bihar and Haryana were watching the match in their respective rooms at Bhai Gurdas Institute of Engineering and Technology in Sangrur, reported New Indian Express.
