FSL report in drug case mounts trouble for Sanjjanaa, Ragini
Bengaluru: Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) with CCB mounted trouble for Sandalwood actresses Sanjjanaa Galrani and Ragini Dwivedi. They are out on bail in connection with the drug menace in the Kannada film industry.
According to reports, the FSL report confirmed that actresses consumed drugs.
The Supreme Court in January granted bail to Ragini Dwivedi, who was arrested in connection with the drug case. Sanjjanaa was released on December 12 on bail from the prison after 90 days.
The Bengaluru Crime Branch had arrested both the actresses in September 2020. The CCB began the probe after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested three people hailing from Kerala, living in Bengaluru, and allegedly supplying drugs to Kannada film actors and singers.
