Horatti suggests govt to hold monsoon session at Belagavi
Hubballi: The Legislative Council Chairman Basaravarj Horatti has suggested the state government to hold the monsoon session at Suvarna Soudha.
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Horatti said, he wrote a letter to Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa requesting to hold a monsoon session at Suvarna Soudha, government has to take a call in this regard, he said.
“Usually monsoon session will conduct in the month of June, due to pandemic we have not started any process to hold the session. We can conduct a monsoon session in July. Two years back, the winter session was held in Suvarna Soudha. Few legislators from Belagavi had urged to hold a session at Suvarna Soudha. I have suggested the same in the letter”, he said.
“Speaker Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri has agreed to hold the session in Belagavi. I will speak to him in this regard soon. There is no problem in holding the session at Belagavi”, Mr. Horatti added.
Mr. Horatti suggested the government to release proper guidelines regarding tuition fees for private schools. Before releasing guidelines, the government should conduct a survey of schools and colleges.
