Leadership change: discontent in bjp continues
Bengaluru: Tourism Minister C.P.Yogishwar, who has taken lead to unseat B.S.Yediyurappa from CM post said he is waiting for judgment from the party high command.
Speaking to reporters at Kalaburgi airport here on Tuesday, Mr. Yogishwar said, arguments and counter arguments have been completed, we are just waiting for judgment regarding change of leadership in the state.
“I have deposed facts before the party central leadership, hoping that party central leadership will frame proper guidelines regarding change of leadership. I am waiting for the judgment, let us wait for the judgment”, Mr. Yogishwar said.
Replying to a question on former minister Ramesh Jarakiholi's statement on resignation to the Assembly membership, he said “no differences in the party we are all united if any issues we will sort out”, he said.
Mr. Yogishwar left for Vijayapura to meet another disgruntled MLA of the party, Basanagowda Patil Yatnal.
He will attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of the 3star hotel in Bhutanala lake on the outskirt of Vijayapura, the project was undertaken by the tourism department. He will meet Yatnal to discuss his recent Delhi tour.
Ramesh left for Delhi
Another disgruntled MLA, Ramesh Jarakihili is continuing mounting pressure on Chief Minister Yediyurappa to induct his son Amarnath to the Cabinet and play the resignation card and left for Delhi to meet party central leadership.
Mr. Jarakiholi making a hectic lobby to get cleared from criminal charges against him and trying to return to the Cabinet. Recently he met Maharashtra opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis, seeking his help to return to the Cabinet. Besides, he met the RSS leaders of North Karnataka. Sources said that Mr. Jarakiholi is upset with his bjp friends for ignoring him.
He is discussing with his supporters and loyalist at an undisclosed location in Bengaluru for a future course of action. Sources close to his family said that Mr. Ramesh is playing pressure tactics with party leadership by saying resignation drama.
Ramesh likely to meet Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa after discussing with his supporters. However, sources added that his resignation to Assembly membership is unlikely.
