Metro operate with 50 percent seating capacity, No BMTC bus service

Bengaluru: With the state government has imposed a statewide weekend curfew and tough Covid rules, the BMTC has decided to suspend bus services on weekends, however, BMRCL decided to operate Namma metro services with 50 percent of seating capacity.
The KSRTC bus services will operate weekends, but BMTC has completely suspended its service for passengers, its services available only for emergency services including transportation of Coron warriors.

Regarding hotels, malls, cinema theatres, gyms, shopping complexes, pubs and bars, 50% seating capacity should be strictly followed. For entry of theatres, malls, shopping complexes, visitors must show the double dose vaccine certificates. At the weekend, only parcel services are allowed in hotels and eatery points.
Meanwhile Bengaluru Police Commissioner, Kamalpant has held a meeting with police officers of the city regarding the implementation of Covid guidelines issued by the state government on Tuesday evening.
Police have decided to impose fines if people unnecessarily travel or roam around in the city during weekends. Police have also decided to close all flyovers in the city during weekends.
