Newly inducted ministers, such as HK Patil got law and parliamentary affairs, KH Muniyappa got food and civil supplies and consumer affairs, Ramalinga Reddy got transport, Satish Jarikiholi got the public works department, Byrati Suresh got the urban development, MB Patil got industries and excise minister, Nagendra got youth and sports, Venkatesh got animal husbandry and Timmpur got the excise portfolios.
The list of MLAs who took oath on Saturday includes Dinesh Gundu Rao, Krishna Byre Gowda, Eshwar Khandre, Raheem Khan, Santosh Lad, KN Rajanna, K Ventakesh, HC Mahadevappa, Byrathi Suresh, Shivaraj Tangadi, RB Timmpur, B Nagendra, Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Madhu Bangarappa, D Sudhakar, Cheluvaraya Swami, Mankul Vaidya and MC Sudhakar.
