Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai entered into wedlock with Asser Malik in a private ceremony held in Birmingham, UK. Malala shared two pictures with her husband from their nikkah and a family photo.

London: Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai entered into wedlock with Asser Malik in a private ceremony held in Birmingham, UK. Malala shared two pictures with her husband from their nikkah and a family photo.
Asser Malik is the operations manager of the High-Performance Centre appointed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
She said in a teet, "Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life. We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead".
On 10 October 2014, Yousafzai was announced as the co-recipient of the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize for her struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education. Having received the prize at the age of 17, Yousafzai is the youngest Nobel laureate. Yousafzai shared the prize with Kailash Satyarthi, a children's rights activist from India.
