Tamil actor Vishal assured that he would sponsor the education of 1800 girls earlier taken care of by late actor Puneeth Rajkumar.
Bengaluru: Tamil actor Vishal assured that he would sponsor the education of 1800 girls earlier taken care of by late actor Puneeth Rajkumar.
The actor, addressing the Puneeth Namana event organised by the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC), turned emotional while recalling Ouneeth Rajkumar's philanthropic initiatives.
Vishal said, " I have decided to sponsor the education of 1800 girls earlier taken care of by Puneeth Rajkumar. I still live in my parents' house. I will spend the amount that I preserved for buying own house on the girls' education house".

He urged that the fraternity should continue noble works as a real tribute to the late actor.
Puneeth Namana'- event was attended by 1,500 people and necessary arrangements were made for the event. The entire event was telecast live on television. Actors from neighbouring Kollywood and the Tollywood industry were present in person attended the event presided over by Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
