Kyiv: Russian missiles hit several military sectors in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro cities. Russian landing troops landed in Odesa.

Ukrainean cities, Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Mykolai and Mariupol were attacked by Russian troops by air. Ukraine was set to join NATO, meaning NATO forces would have been on Russia's border...They are NOT part of NATO yet, hence one of the reasons for the invasion.

Journalist Andriy Tsaplienko wrote on his Telegram channel that missile strikes began in Kyiv, Kharkiv and other cities of Ukraine, in Odesa a Russian landing party landed near Fontanka, and Russian troops crossed the state border near Kharkiv.

As Ukrinform reported, the head of the aggressor country, Putin, announced the start of a special military operation in Donbas.

Due to the high risk of aviation security for civil aviation from 00.45 utc (2.45 Kyiv time), Ukraine’s Civil-Military Air Traffic Management System took urgent measures to close the airspace of Ukraine for civil airspace users.

“Based on the urgent message of the Main Center for the Use of Airspace of Civil Aviation of the Russian Federation, due to the high risk of aviation safety for civil aviation from 00.45 utc (2.45 Kyiv time) of the Joint Civil-Military Air Traffic Management System of Ukraine on the use of Ukraine's airspace, in accordance with the requirements of the Air Code of Ukraine and the Regulations on the use of Ukrainian airspace, has taken urgent measures to close Ukraine's airspace to civilian airspace users,” the report says.

The naval base in the port of Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, suffered airstrikes. Four militaries were wounded. Head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration Vitaliy Kim wrote on Telegram.

“Four soldiers were seriously wounded in Ochakiv! The military port and radar were subjected to attacks. The attacks are directed at the military infrastructure,” Kim wrote. He also noted that there had been ambulance calls from the military so far.
