Russia-Ukraine expected to hold fresh round of talks

New Delhi: On the one hand, the Russian forces have continued bombardment over various cities of Ukraine unabatedly, the reports of a fresh round of talks between Russia and Ukraine are emerging to end the war.

As both countries are preparing for another round of peace talks, Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine has asserted that his government is considering a Russian demand of Ukrainian neutrality carefully.

It may be noted that it is one of the prominent demands of Russia for negotiations to have a fresh round of talks that are aimed at ending the brutal month-long war.

With the war continuing, the United Nations has estimated that at least 1,100 civilians have lost their lives in the shelling and fire. Over 10 million people have been displaced in a devastating war. The reports said that even the Russian officials and experts had not expected that the war would continue for over a month and is still going on.
The reports meanwhile said that the fresh rounds of talks are expected to be held in Turkey either on Monday or Tuesday.

The reports are still not believable as there is no clarity yet. Amid the war, the humanitarian crisis is expected to worsen as the civilians in war-ravaged countries are facing an acute shortage of food, water and other essential aid.

Some nations such as the UK have already announced to supply food to people through the warehouses of Poland.

The US has expressed concern that Russia may be planning to use chemical weapons on Ukraine, however, the former has warned Russia of dire consequences if it uses chemical weapons.

With no sign of peace emerging soon and Ukrainian cities turning into rubble with constant bombardment, Zelensky has been fervently appealing to the world community to come to the rescue of Ukraine.
