Situation is extremely dangerous, another attack at Kabul airport highly likely: Joe Biden
Washington: After the attack on the ISIS-K planner responsible for twin blasts near Kabul airport, US President Joe Biden has warned of another attack in the next 24-36 hours.
In a statement issued after a meeting with the national security team in Washington, President Biden said, "We would go after the group responsible for the attack on our troops and innocent civilians in Kabul, and we have. This strike was not the last. We will continue to hunt down any person involved in that heinous attack and make them pay".

Also, Biden thanked General McKenzie for his commitment to the safety of troops in Afghanistan and for heading the mission to eliminate the ISIS-K planner.
In deadly twin blasts a week after the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, at least 110 people, including 12 US service members, have been killed in the two explosions outside Kabul airport.
The casualties are the worst single-day loss for American troops in Afghanistan since the August 2011 attack on a Chinook helicopter that killed 30 service members. The US flag will be flown at half-mast until the evening of August 30 to honour the victims killed in attacks.
