New Delhi: Stormy start of the winter session of the Parliament on Monday. The first day of the winter session has started with approval of repeal bill on farms laws by voice votes.

The Centre has decided to pass 36 bills in the 25-day winter session of the parliament. Meanwhile, the Opposition has decided to corner the government on many issues, including Pegasus, price rise and MSP for agricultural produce.

On the first day, Lok Sabha adjourned amid protest of the Opposition Congress over farm laws and demanded discussion over it. Even in Rajya Sabha too, the opposition has disrupted the House.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured that his government is ready to reply to all questions raised by the Opposition Congress. , "Whatever voices are raised against the government or government policies - the dignity of parliament and the Speaker's Chair should be upheld.", he requested the opposition parties.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi criticized the Congress for making a ruckus in the House. He questioned the intention of the grand old party for disrupting the House proceedings.

“ Congress doesn’t want House to be conducted smoothly, what was the intention of the Congress. Government is very clear regarding the repeal of the bill and the same will be passed in the Rajya Sabha today itself. I do request the Congress not to disrupt the proceedings in Rajya Sabha”, Mr. Joshi said.
