Taliban searches for documents in Indian consulates at Kandahar

Kabul: After the Indian government has closed its embassy in Afghanistan, the Taliban militants have visited Indian consulates on Wednesday, searched for papers and took away parked cars and other infrastructures facilities.

Members of the Taliban visited the Indian consulates in Kandahar and Herat searched for important documents, sources confirmed. Taliban has taken parked vehicles in Indian consulates. New Delhi has shuts in Embassy in Kabul and shifted its staffs to New Delhi on Tuesday. After taking control over Kabul on August 15, the Taliban has carried out door-to-door searches in Kabul to identify Afghans who worked for the National Directorate of Security, the state-run intelligence agency.
