Uttar Pradesh Elections 2022: Amit Shah, Yogi Adityanath release 'Kalyan Sankalp Patra-22'
CM Yogi Adityanath stated that the BJP prepared its new 'Lok Kalyan Sankalp-Patra' for UP's development in the next 5 years.
Lucknow: Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah, CM Yogi Adityanath and other leaders of the party released the party's manifesto for Uttar Pradesh Elections on Tuesday. Along with BJP's election manifesto, their election song was released at the party's office in Lucknow.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, " BJP UP team has given form to this 'Sankalp Patra'. It is not just a 'ghoshna patra', it is UP government's resolution. The 2017 'Sankalp Patra' had 212 resolutions, of which 92 have been fulfilled. We do what we say."

We have decided that in the next 5 years, free irrigation facility will be provided to all farmers, payment to be given to sugarcane farmers within 14 days. Free travel for women above 60 years of age and free scooties to meritorious female college students."
The Union Home Minister promised a Lata Mangeshkar Performing Arts Academy, to honour the legacy of Lata Mangeshkar, if voted power in the state.

On the failure of law and order in previous regimes, Yogi said that over 700 riots occurred between 2012-2017, many people killed and months of curfew. Businessmen migrated, daughters couldn't go to schools.
CM Yogi Adityanath filed his nomination from the Gorakhpur Urban Assembly constituency on 4 February. Legislative Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Uttar Pradesh from 10 February to 7 March 2022 in seven phases to elect all 403 members of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The votes will be counted and the results will be declared on 10 March 2022.
