1st Anniversary of Vaccination Drive: PM Modi lauds role of doctors, nurses and healthcare workers
As per COVID-19 bulletin, with the administration of more than 66 lakh Doses (66,21,395) vaccine doses in the last 24 hours
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday thanked and congratulated the nation and all those who are associated with the vaccination drive on the occasion of the first anniversary of Vaccination Drive on Sunday.
Also, the prime minister especially applauded doctors, nurses and healthcare workers for 'exceptional' service.
Marking the anniversary of the vaccination drive, PM Modi said in a tweet, "Today we mark #1YearOfVaccineDrive. I salute each and every individual who is associated with the vaccination drive. Our vaccination programme has added great strength to the fight against COVID-19. It has led to saving lives and thus protecting livelihoods."

As per COVID-19 bulletin, with the administration of more than 66 lakh Doses (66,21,395) vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 156.76 Cr (1,56,76,15,454) as per provisional reports till 7 am on Sunday. Around 1,38,331 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) is now at 3,50,85,721.
