21 dead after consuming spurious liquor in Bihar
In tragic incidents, at least 21 people, including 10 people in Bettiah and 11 people in Gopalganj, have died due to the consumption of illegal liquor in two days in Bihar.

Meanwhile, State Minister Sunil Kumar said, "Two more deaths in Bettiah are suspected due to illegal liquor, their post mortem reports are awaited. Those admitted to different hospitals are in stable condition".
"We've verified the information of death of 8 people in Bettiah. Prima facie appears to be due to consumption of spurious liquor. There is a medical team present here", Kundan Kumar, District Magistrate, West Champaran, tolf news agency ANI.
Bihar Minister Janak Chamar said on deaths reported in Bettiah and Gopalganj due to spurious liquor said that he could see conspiracy on the pretext of spurious liquor. "Those who consume it are poor. When action is taken and raids are done, the weak are nabbed. The weak get nabbed, the weak die. Unfortunate!", said Janak Chamar.
