868 arms, 11,518 ammunition recovered in Manipur so far; 57 arms in 24 hours: Manipur Security advisor Kuldeep Singh
A total of 868 arms and 11,518 ammunition have been recovered to date from different areas in violence-hit Manipur, Kuldeep Singh, advisor (Security) to the Manipur government, said on Wednesday.
Imphal. In violence-hit Manipur, 57 arms, 318 ammunition and five bombs have been recovered during the last 24 hours, after which a total of 868 arms and 11,518 ammunition have been recovered in the state so far. Kuldeep Singh, Security Advisor to Manipur Government gave this information on Wednesday. Along with this, he told that curfew has been relaxed for 12 hours in five valley districts of the state and from 10 to 8 hours in neighboring hill districts. There is no curfew in six other hill districts.
