Mumbai: Minority Development Minister of Maharashtra said Cabinet Minister of Tourism Aaditya Thackeray has received death threats from a man on December 8th.
Mumbai Crime Branch Cyber Cell swung into action to arrest Jaisingh Rajput from Bengaluru. According to Police, Jaisingh Rajput had called the Minister on 8th December and left him threatening text messages after the latter didn't receive the call.
Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik told news agency ANI that the way Aaditya Thackeray received a threat letter, we suspect if it's connected to the organisations that murdered (Narendra) Dabholkar and (Govind) Pansare. "I too have received such threats. We've written for an investigation into it," he said.
"I think it is a serious matter, after losing power, some organisations are behaving in this manner. Home Department will probe it and find out who is behind it. They will be nabbed and punished," said Nawab Malik.
