Abide by party decision: Joshi, Nirani
Hubballi: Refusing to comment on political developments in the state, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Prahlad Joshi said that, no in the party had discussed with him about the future Chief Minister of Karnataka.
Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, Mr. Joshi said that party senior leaders have not discussed with him about choosing future Chief Minister. “ No leader has discussed with regarding my nomination to CM post. BJP National President J.P. Nadda and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take a call on this matter, he replied.
“Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa has already reacted to leadership change in the state. I don’t know the details about Yediyurappa’s discussion with party central leaders”, Mr. Joshi said
“Whatever discussion took place on leadership change it was between Mr. Yediyurappa and party central leaders”, he added.

Abide by party decision- Nirani
Denying any lobbying on his part to get the Chief Minister’s post, Mines and Geology and Kalaburagi district in-charge Minister Muruesh R Nirani said he will abide by any decision taken by the BJP high command.
Addressing the media personnel here, Minister Nirani said he was an ordinary BJP functionary and it was his duty to follow the party’s diktat. The minister further added that BJP is a disciplined party and unlike other parties lobbying for posts will not work in his party.
"I have never lobbied for any post in my life," Mr. Nirani said. Meanwhile he has also downplayed his visit to Varanasi.
