'BJP decides to sell Hindu temples to RSS, party workers': Shivakumar
Congress has opposed the move of the Basavaraj Bommai government giving freedom to the temple from government control. KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar termed that the government has decided to sell the temples to BJP workers and RSS cadres.
Bengaluru: KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar has accused the BJP government will handover Hindu temples to RSS, Sangh Parivar and BJP workers.
KPCC President warned that if the BJP government proceed to get free the temples from government control and hand over the same to BJP cadres, people will not forgive them.
“Many Hindu temples in the state are governed by the state government. But BJP government is wanted to sell the rich temples to party workers and Parivar leaders. If it proceeds with selling the temples, BJP will be buried”, Mr. Shivakumar warned.
Selling temples to party workers and its cadres is a heinous crime, people will teach a fitting lesson to the BJP since it has already been rejected by the people in local bodies elections, people will send the Bommai government to the home, Mr. Shivakumar said and added that Congress will oppose any move of the state government of selling the temples to its party workers.

What is wrong if temples are governed by the state government, many temples have rich income and assets. BJP government is eying on rich temples in the state and wanted to hand over its control to party cadres and RSS, Mr. Shivakumar said.
