Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has clarified that Hindu temples will not hand over to private parties, he asserted that temples will be free from government control.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Mr. Bommai said, baseless propaganda has been made against the state government for its decision to make temples free from government control.
Hitting back at KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar, who criticized that, the government has decided to hand over temples to party workers, Mr. Bommai termed that “Mr. Shivakumar attitude shows that he is anti-Hindus and showing disrespect to Hindu devotees”.
Regarding the Deputy Commissioner meeting, the Chief Minister said that “I have instructed the DC to effective implementations of the schemes and take the administration to the doorsteps of the people”.
“Government has taken stringent steps to curb the spread of Omicron in the state, Centre has listed Karnataka as one of the vulnerable states in Omicron affected states, we have taken the precaution to combat the Omicron variant. After improving our health infrastructures, the government will take a major decision soon”, Mr. Bommai replied to a question.
