Panaji: BJP's national general secretary and party's in-charge for Goa C.T. Ravi has claimed that BJP will register a hat-trick win in upcoming Goa Assembly elections.
BJP is ruling in Goa since 2013. Different surveys are projected that the party will come to power in the state. Party will face the elections under social harmony, law and order and development, Mr. Ravi said.
“Party will contest all 40 seats and will not make an alliance with any regional parties. Our party cadres have already prepared for the elections and started groundwork in the nook and corner of the state. Based on the inclusion of party cadres in each Assembly segment, we can achieve the target”, said the party National secretary.
Downplaying the opposition from AAP and Trinamool Congress, Mr. Ravi said, “what is Aam Aadmi Party in Goa? It is a leaderless and voterless party. How can they win in the elections? Both AAP and Trinamool Congress has seen in posters, they have no voters support. BJP is a cadre-based party, we have voters too. We have done and are doing good work, so we are in the number one position. Who will come in Opposition I don't know but BJP will come to power and I am hundred per cent sure about it." Mr. Ravi added.
Party is hundred percent confident in forming the government, we have done developmental works in the last ten years. BJP government has maintained law and order and its developmental works had reached each individual in the state. Under the leadership of Dr. Pramod Sawant and earlier, Manohar Parrikar, the party gained the confidence of the people, Mr. Ravi said.
Trinamool Congress is not at all threat to the BJP, Goa people will not accept the West Bengal model of government, the West Bengal model is corrupt and anarchy, he criticized. The tenue of Goa Legislative Assembly will end on March 15. Elections will be held in Goa on February 14.
