Bommai meets Modi
New Delhi: The Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Friday.
In view of his anointment to the Chief Minister’s post, Mr. Bommai made a courtesy call with Prime Minister and Union Ministers in Delhi.
Chief Minister’s office stated that Mr. Bommai had discussed with Prime Minister about various matters pertaining to the development of the state.
The Prime Minister has wished the newly elected Chief Minister for success and told him to the speedy implementation of Central projects in the state. Further PM has assured the new chief minister of all kinds of cooperation.
On Saturday, Mr. Bommai will meet the Union Minister for Jal Shakthi, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to discuss pending irrigation projects of the state. Mr. Bommai will be requested Union Minister for Jal Shakthi to get clearance for the Kalasa-Bhanduri nala project and also Mekedatu project.
